Pune: Kinetic Green, one of India’s leading electric vehicle manufacturers, has unveiled its strategic roadmap for aggressive growth in the electric two-wheeler (E2W) segment with the launch of its new Born-Electric scooters.
The announcement comes as the company celebrates the continued success of its iconic E-Luna, which has sold over 80,000 units since launch.
Over the next 18 months, Kinetic Green will roll out three new Born-Electric scooter models, starting with a stylish, tech-savvy family scooter slated for launch in the festive season of 2025. These scooters are engineered to blend futuristic global design with rugged Indian sensibilities.

The first model will feature a vibrant TFT display, advanced IoT integration through a co-developed platform with Jio Things, fast-charging capability, and multiple battery variants tailored to suit various customer needs and budgets.
Born-Electric Scooter: Futuristic Design Language
Kinetic Green has collaborated with world-renowned Italian design studio Torino Design to co-create a futuristic design language for its Born-Electric scooters. These next-gen electric vehicles will embody a sleek, disruptive aesthetic designed to appeal to India’s style-conscious youth, signaling a new era in electric mobility.
The upcoming models are built around Kinetic Green’s unique “Thoughtful Engineering” philosophy – an approach that prioritizes smart connectivity, comfort, safety, and practicality. This strategy aims to redefine scooter ownership in India by offering advanced yet accessible mobility solutions.

Kinetic Green entered the EV market in 2016 and ventured into E2Ws in 2022. Its E-Luna, launched in 2024, has gained popularity in both B2C and B2B markets for its versatility in urban and rural applications.
Building on this momentum, the company aims to meet the surging demand in India’s rapidly growing E-scooter market, which is expected to reach ₹40,000 crore by 2030, with penetration growing from 15% to 70% over the next five years.
Backed by advanced EV R&D, a robust supply chain, deep consumer insight, and a rich legacy of innovation, Kinetic Green’s Born-Electric scooters are set to reshape the landscape of electric two-wheelers in India.
The first Born-Electric scooter will be launched during the upcoming festive season, with more models to follow by 2026.
